El bosque de Oma (en euskera: Omako basoa) es una obra artística creada por el escultor y pintor Agustín Ibarrola entre los años 1982 y 1985 y que se puede encuadrar dentro del movimiento artístico Arte y Naturaleza. Dicho bosque está situado en la Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai y consiste en un grupo de árboles en los que se han realizado pintadas y que -en el conjunto de varios troncos y mirando desde determinadas posiciones- componen diferentes figuras geométricas, humanas y animales. La obra se encuentra ubicada en una de las laderas del valle de Oma, en la localidad de Kortezubi, cerca de la cueva de Santimamiñe, no muy lejos del antiguo domicilio del artista. El pintor y escultor Agustín Ibarrola concibió el bosque animado o bosque de Oma como una muestra de la relación entre la naturaleza y la presencia humana.
El pinar sobre el que se situaba esta obra originalmente que data del año 1960 por lo que a comienzos del siglo XXI, próximo a su final del ciclo vital ,el estado del bosque estaba afectado por la enfermedad de la banda marrón con la caída de varios árboles ,lo que ocasiono su cierre por cuestiones de seguridad en 2018.La Diputación de Bizkaia con la intención de que el bosque perdurase decidió buscar una nueva ubicación para esta obra en la zona. Con el asesoramiento de un equipo técnico forestal se localizó una nueva zona para que un equipo multidisciplinar ubicar los conjuntos artísticos que componían la obra.
Este nuevo proyecto de la obra se inició en el año 2022 y finalmente ha reabierto al público en Noviembre de 2023 con un total de 34 creaciones artísticas realizadas en más de 800 arboles.

The painter and sculptor Agustín Ibarrola conceived the animated forest or Oma forest as an example of the relationship between nature and human presence.
The pine forest on which this work was located originally dates back to 1960, so at the beginning of the 21st century, close to the end of its life cycle, the state of the forest was affected by brown band disease with the fall of several trees, which caused its closure for security reasons in 2018. The Provincial Council of Bizkaia, with the intention of the forest lasting, decided to look for a new location for this work in the area. With the advice of a forestry technical team, a new area was located so that a multidisciplinary team could locate the artistic groups that made up the work.
This new work project began in 2022 and finally reopened to the public in November 2023 with a total of 34 artistic creations made on more than 800 trees.
