CN 397... on the Guelph sub?
After tackling hills at Limehouse & Sturm, CN 397 sails through Baden with CN 3215 and another Gevo pulling nearly 150 cars. For a subdivision that would consider a 30 car train "big", this was a massive event for local railfans. Detouring due to a derailment on the mainline, CN 397 was forced to take the lesser used Guelph sub to get around the situation. This was the only CN detour that day, while a number of VIAs took the northern route in Southwest Ontario.
Photographer note: the date in my camera was incorrect. The photo was taken on July 25th.
