Corn Cropped

Keremeos, a fertile valley, is known for its plentiful bounty of fruit throughout the summer months. Continue south and the fruit orchards are replaced by corn fields. This corn field is being cut and minced up for winter feed for cattle. Nothing goes to waste. Today we did our part in the recycling scheme and went home with a dozen corn, 10 pounds of honey crisp apples, 2 litres of freshly squeezed cherry juice, 6 gala apples and 2 plums. Ok the plums we didn't pay for, they somehow ended up in the bag on the way out the door.
