Waxwing. A close friend.
So I show up with my camera standing on a bridge overlooking a tiny stream and here comes Bob staring over at me. There were other birds there sure, but Bob and I struck up an immediate friendship. After I took his picture he flipped over to another branch, closer to me for another, then another, then another. The next thing I know my best friend Bob has landed next to my foot looking up at me. Yes yes I know someone has been feeding these birds but it sure wasn't me as Bob found out. He wasn't resentful though he kept doing acrobatics for me flipping on different branches until JoAnne called it. I told him I'd post his picture and wished him luck. If you're reading this Bob, next time I'm there I will definitely bring you something.
