Last time i was here late morning the falls were in complete shade. I asked a lady if the sun ever hit the falls so i could get a better shot. Yes yes she replied you have to come very early in the morning. I don't do mornings. So I popped around just before sundown the next day and found the sun lit up the whole scene nicely - earlier morning would have placed the well behind the mountain.
On a side note and if that 'knowledgeable' lady who told me that lie is reading this: I wish if people do not know the answer would just admit they don't know and not make stuff up to make themselves look smart -- especially when the answer would entail an extreme effort on my part.
