Penguin on the Falklands
This particular tract of land that the Gentoo Penguin is walking on is off limits to humans because it has yet to be cleared of landmines. During the Falkland invasion of 1982 some 30,000 land mines were buried by the Argentinian forces and are yet to be cleared. That prevented extending my photo walk but grateful that one brave soul was curious enough to come out and greet us.
