Guide Friday Variety - 1
Guide Friday Sightseeing started operations in Stratford on Avon in the 1970s and used a variety of secondhand vehicles. This Daimler Fleetline with Weymann bodywork originally started life with Bournemouth Corporation in 1965 as their 184. It passed to Ensign in 1978 who converted it to open-top for London Transport for the Round London Sightseeing Tour and became DMO3 in typical LT style. It passed to Guide Friday in 1990s and is seen here awaiting custom in Stratford. This vehicle is still around and is preserved in Bournemouth livery.
