Vintage 3 / 2025
This miniature camera was sold by the Quelle mail-order company in Fürth, Germany, from 1968 to 1974, but was produced by Yashica Kyocera in Japan, where it was known as Atoron. It is made entirely of metal and makes a very high-quality and solid impression; it was intended for 8 x 11 film, as was also used for the Minox. In addition to the camera itself, a pretty box contained a matching flash unit with bulbs, as well as several filters, a fastening chain and the operating instructions, and even a microfibre cleaning cloth. Everything makes a very high-class impression, it looks like new and still works perfectly, I still have a relatively new film for it, which I will perhaps insert and use in summer.
