In Memory of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
In memory of the passing of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her life was long, as was her duty.
She inspired so many hundreds and thousands over that time. For a young princess that had no expectation to ever wear the burden and honour of Monarch, she proved to be one of, if not the greatest Monarch to rule the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
As a proud British citizen who once had the wonderful opportunity in meeting this great lady, I feel deeply saddened by this, but I am happy that she was able to pass peacefully surrounded by her family. We will all feel the ripples of her absence all over the world. I like some of you am feeling a little unsure how to process this loss, it has stricken me more than I thought it would.
Rest in peace your Majesty, and thank you for everything you have done for this country. We are better, stronger and more compassionate as a result of your long 70 years of service.
