Inky Mermaids
Within a busy schedule and still wanting to participate in the online challenge 'mermay' (draw a mermaid for every day of May) I decided to make a spread of mermaid illustrations as one whole piece ranging from day 5 - 17. Each day I added a new small mermaid. The visual idea for this piece was all in the ink. I wanted to convey this line-less, inky washed pattern of mermaids.
