...in the distance, a snowy peak. This was taken from the Rhyd Ddu path up Snowdon, an old mineral road at this point.

The large boulders left of center and just below the skyline must have been a victorian stop and picnic spot - there are fragments of the marble stoppered lemonade bottles which were Mr Codd's invention, scattered in fissures in the rocks. None whole that I could see.
