Still defying the odds. A CT scan in June showed she was born with a severely deformed liver, full of shunts and no gall bladder. The internal medicine specialist was astonished that she could seem so radiantly healthy, but expects her quality of life to diminish rapidly. Every day with her is a gift. The most wonderful, fun and quirky little girl.
