Common Garter Snake!!

While we are outside doing some fall yardwork, this beauty was enjoying the sun! The Garter Snake was sunning itself in the morning sun. The Juniper was a little wet with rain the night before, so the Snake was very cooperative. I even had time to put my macro lens on, and the Snake was still there when I got back.
