Trout for Lunch!!

A Double-crested Cormorant with its Trout catch! It is amazing how fast he manuevered the fish to swallow it head first, in less than a minute. The inside of the Cormorant's mouth turns bright blue during breeding season, to help attract a mate. Photo taken at Klineline Pond, Vancouver, Washington.
