The fine top layer of oak is supported by 5.5mm high density fibre, one of the most dense-intensive material in the construction sector, to keep the floorboard stable in the longitudinal direction. The bottom layer of the floor is a 2mm poplar veneer to enhance the stability of the floor, and reduce noise.
