'Cool Construction'?
With the forthcoming snow forecast for today in various parts of the UK, I thought I'd share this image of an 'Igloo' that had been skilfully built when I was trackside, near Oxenhope, on Saturday 11th March 2023 - day three of the excellent Keighley and Worth Valley Railway's Steam Gala.
During the preceding Thursday, the area experienced a heavy snowfall resulting in varying depths of over one foot deep. The snow was durable enough to build such structures as well as an abundant array of 'Snow People'!
Who knows with further snowfalls, in the coming days, similar structures might appear!
