'Twilight Reflections' (1 of 2) - Llyn Gwynant

I'd hoped to catch the sunset over the lake but just missed it.

It's 16.30pm very cold and still air - outside temperature now 0C. I was en route home from Snowdon's Watkin Path that starts half a mile distant in Nant Gwynant at the head of the lake directly opposite.

However, when I noticed these beautiful reflections I simply had to stop.

Llyn Gwynant in the Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd, North West Wales is a glacial lake surrounded by the impressive slopes of Gallt y Wenallt 619m (2,030ft) starting middle far right. The lake is noted for its stunning reflections when calm - this being just one example.

In comparison, other reflection images of this beautiful lake can be found within my Snowdonia National Park Album.
