This week it's a 'Powerful Giant' overlooking the North West Wales Village with a 'Giant Name' - Happy Telegraph Tuesday (HTT) Everyone!

You're probably wondering what I'm talking about. Well the Village's Name is 58 letters long as follows:

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

The name translates as follows:

"St Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of St Tysilio of the red cave"

The village also has the undisputed 'Longest Valid Domain Name' in the World. Simply use Google to see for yourself!

Some years ago my eldest son lived in this village Llanfairpwyll (the abbreviated version used locally), located in Yns Mon (Anglesey), North West Wales - close to the Menai Strait. During British Railways' days the railway station was closed - but has since re-opened as a request stop.

The original station sign, clock and several other artefacts removed from the station upon closure can be found in the nearby large retail store. Prior to COVID, it was still a major tourist attraction with people travelling from worldwide by coach as well as car and train. As it's recently re-opened my wife wanted to visit too!

Happy Telegraph Tuesday everyone - continue to stay safe and well too!
