Anxiety is an emotion characterized by an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behavior such as pacing back and forth, somatic complaints, and rumination.

It is the subjectively unpleasant feelings of dread over anticipated events. Anxiety is closely related to fear, which is a response to a real or perceived immediate threat; anxiety involves the expectation of future threats. People facing anxiety may withdraw from situations that have provoked anxiety in the past.At one or some point in life, everyone has feelings of anxiety. We all have to feel worried while sitting in an exam hall or having a medical test or job interview. Feeling anxious, during these situations are quite normal. However, some people find hard to control their worries and their feelings of anxiety are more constant and often affect their everyday life. You can able to manage your anxiety, through a range of strategies. What works is different for everyone, and it can take time to find the strategies that work best for you.
