Abandoned

Sadly missing the snow on Friday me and my partner tried to get out to see if there was any left yesterday but unfortunatly we had missed.

 

Never one to dwell on such matter we decided to carry on to Nun's Cross which is a new location for me and I must say what a location.

 

Scouting around for possible shots of this infamous house, I was looking for something a little unusual or unique. Coming back from the house I was intrigued by this line of grass in a small ditch head directly towards the house so setting for a verticle composition and using the grass as both foreground interest and a leading line towards the house I took this shot.

 

Whilst I regret not getting up there for the snow, I seem to be always working when this happens, I am still very happy with this shot.
