SP1 MOC - Heavy Pursuer (box front)

This is my Space Police 1 MOC, dubbed "Heavy Pursuer", mostly based on parts from 6986 Mission Commander.

This is loosly inspired by the Millenium Falcon, with it's rounded back and wings on the side.

 

Things i wanted to incorporate/include in my build:

- Go for the retro look (Studs On Top) and create a spacecraft that would fit in with the existing SP1 sets.

- I also wanted to incorporate a gun that could be handled from the inside, like the MF.

- Have a modular part that could be detached from the main model as sets from that time usually had.

- Have a good balance of mostly black, some blue and the splashes of trans-red like original SP1 sets.

 

The name "Heavy Pursuer" comes from the fact that it has heavy firepower, and that it's main objective is to persue and retrieve high-value targets from enemy territory. Once the enemy's spacecraft has been disabled, the front cockpit can detach and retrieve the prisoner while the gunner at the back can lend support. Total parts: ~355
