Chapelle des Manants
Prieuré bénédictin fondé vers 1060 par saint Robert, fondateur de la Chaise-Dieu, sur des terres données par son disciple, Raoul Passereau, ancien troubadour. Au 14e siècle, le monastère était l'un des plus importants parmi les établissements de la Chaise-Dieu. Au 15e siècle, son influence diminue et, au 18e siècle, n'y reste plus qu'un moine. En 1746, un brevet royal décrète la suppression du prieuré. En 1790, bâtiments et biens sont vendus comme biens nationaux.
Vers 1597, la chapelle du prieuré fut incendiée et les moines se servirent alors de celle de Manants. L'édifice est constitué d'éléments appartenant à différentes époques : portail du 15e, voûte refaite après 1695.

Benedictine priory founded around 1060 by Saint Robert, founder of La Chaise-Dieu, on land donated by his disciple, Raoul Passereau, former troubadour. In the 14th century, the monastery was one of the most important among the establishments of La Chaise-Dieu. In the 15th century, its influence diminished and, in the 18th century, only one monk remained there. In 1746, a royal patent decreed the suppression of the priory. In 1790, buildings and property were sold as national property.
Around 1597, the chapel of the priory was burnt down and the monks then used that of Manants. The building is made up of elements from different periods: 15th century portal, vault redone after 1695.
