Callimation venustum
This is a portrait of a Callimation venustum, a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, typically characterized by extremely long antennae, which are often as long as or longer than the beetle's body. Callimation venustum is known from Madagascar. This photo is a stacking of 42 exposures, taken using an automatic focus stacking rail in my macro studio. I used a microscope 4x plan achromatic infinity lens with raynox dcr 150 lens on extension tubes
