South Jersey Healthcare and Underwood-Memorial Hospital merged in 2012 to create the Inspira health network. The hospital was set for closure under inspira in 2019 after a new facility was built in Harrison Township. at the beginning of COVID the hospital re-opened as the bed space was very much so needed.
