The squad closed its doors in 2011 when North Haledon Township rebranded the organization. The organization previously covered North Haledon, Haledon, and Prospect Park before 2009. The organization asked each township for a new ambulance to replace their old ones. Haledon and Prospect Park said no and agreed to contract EMS out with the Paterson Fire department in 2009.
