Repentance from sins in Islam and its benefits

Repentance from sins in Islam and its benefits Read article at ift.tt/39oug0U As the cliché goes to err is human and to forgive is Divine. Repentance from sins plays an integral role in Islam. Even our beloved Prophet PBUH would repent at least 70 times a day. This article shall thus discuss repentance from sins in Islam in light of the Quran and Hadith. When looking upon the beginning of the man’s creation itself with the advent of Adam A.S, his readiness to repent from the sin of eating from the forbidden tree when compared to Shaytan’s pride and arrogance is what sets good and evil apart. In a well-renowned hadith we are informed that Allah SWT is more pleased with the repentance of His slave that the delight of a lone traveler who after losing his camel in the desert, finds it. Allah SWT also said if we all stopped sinning that He would remove us and create another people who would sin and repent. Such is His love for the beautiful and humbling act of repentance. May Allah make us from amongst those who repent by day and by night. Aameen. youtu.be/4FlFAhNqZqI
