British listed buildings: This is a Grade I Listed building and the landscaped park and gardens are listed Grade II* on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Wikipedia: This is a former royal residence which was built between 1845 and 1851 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer home and rural retreat. Albert designed the house in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo. Edward VII presented Osborne to the nation on his Coronation Day in August 1902.
