09696/Mavli ⇌ Marwar Meter Gauge Passenger Special! ❣️

If "Blessings in Disguise", had a face then it would be my face on that day! ❣️

Starting my journey a day before from PUNE in 19668/Palace Queen Humsafar Express to COR, as soon I came a few miles ahead into the Khandala & Bhor Ghat region where my camera was out to click pictures of beautiful Humsafar train curving behind LHF BGKT. WDP-4B 40031 on that day. It was a downcast moment when I saw that the pictures I clicked were completely blank on the screen, had done all checks a day before departing yet don't know what happened exactly. Later, from changing the settings to getting suggestions from pals, everything possible was done to fix the camera issue inside the train, but nothing worked. In the end, lost all hope for the day ahead when I was supposed to commence the MG ride, thought it would be a trip from which I would return without any good clicks, and for further advancement, I considered my phone to be the only savior. The next day, for the first time, stepped into the Rajasthan, sunrise for me happened in the Mewar region at a station named Mavli Jn. (MVJ) in NWR, under the Udaipur district. Without obsessing much about the camera issue & with a heavy heart I continued my MG ride from Mewar to Marwar region behind the ever-stunning MVJ. YDM-4 6655, my only purpose to be here. Before my train would reach the Ghat sections ahead, my gloomy mind asked me to look after the issue again and again, trying various random shots from inside & after wasting enough memory got one strategy of getting the perfect picture which was also not effective every time. Finally, the time has arrived when my train started descending the dried Goram Ghat section of the Aravali ranges, the moment for which I was waiting, took my position on an emergency window, a camera in one hand & my phone in another, without caring much about the output I did what I usually do, acting normal like if nothing happened. The result of this effort was truly amazing, my camera also acted normally like me in the particular stretch of Goram Ghat & clicked the perfect pictures that I hoped for. After descending the Ghats the issue continued, lost many good pictures of PQHS in Ghats, MG Xing at Phulad (FLD) & some GEs at Marwar Jn. (MJ) yet felt more satisfactory than I expected.

YDM-4 6655 through the longest bridge in Goram Ghat, amid the dried ranges of Aravali in backdrop standing strong on either side of the century old rail route. If you're seeing this picture on my feed then all credits to my Canon SX430 IS for giving an absolute justice to this image. 😀

By this way, fulfilled my long pending rail route of MG era which will soon become part of the Heritage line in future & route before the Ghat would be converted to Broad Gauge. 😀
