Sunset on Coruscant

The Clone Wars ended months ago. While the newly established Empire has succeeded in eliminating most senators who have openly opposed the new Imperial rule, some politicians loyal to the democratic ways of the Republic have managed to escape the tyranny of the Empire. These senators have worked tirelessly to make their voices heard in an attempt to spark sentiments of revolution within the senate; unfortunately without any success.

 

Although many of these politicians and senators have been exceedingly careful in staying under the radar and remaining undetected by Imperial security agents, two senators have been discovered hiding in the Uscru district of Coruscant. Now, just minutes away from being apprehended and taken to their doom, they look out across the city skyline of Coruscant as the sun sets and enjoy the moment—not knowing it’s the last peaceful scene they’d know.
