—/Dark Times Operation: Nar Shaddaa\—

Stealing stuff from the Empire was not an easy task for sure, but the payment will be worth the risk. Someone who claimed to be a member of the ¨Red Hand¨ syndicate, offered a big payment to someone who would get them Imperial supplies. Of course, you can buy those somewhere from the black market and sell it to them, but where is the fun in that?

So after Quay Sta´nn infiltrated an Imperial base and stole the supplies, he went to Nar Shaddaa, where he would meet the crime boss. Nar Shaddaa reminded Quay of his home planet Coruscant, with the only difference being that this planet was completely polluted and infested with crime. A perfect place for a smuggler like him.

It took Quay a while to get to the meeting point, due to several Imperial patrols blocking the way. He couldn't risk that they would recognize either him or the weapons and other goods stored in the crates, because that could possibly lead to a shootout between him and several dozen Stormtroopers. And if that were to happen, his odds of surviving would be pretty low. When he finally arrived at the meeting point, the crime boss was already waiting for him.

¨Sorry I'm late, Imperial troops were blocking the way,¨ Quay said.

¨That doesn't matter, as long as you have the goods i asked for.¨ The crime boss replied.

¨Yes, i have them right here. The crate that is marked with yellow contains the blasters, the crate marked with green contains the explosives, and the white crate contains the blueprints.¨

¨Excellent work, Quay. How much do you want for these goods?¨

¨I think 18,000 credits is a fair price for all this.¨

¨Yes, that is a fair price. By the way, did you check the crates for trackers? I heard the Empire has been putting trackers on their supplies, because they sometimes get stolen.¨

Before Quay could reply, the two of them heard running footsteps on the roof, quickly followed by a loud explosion. They looked up, and saw a stormtrooper jumping from the roof. Quay grabbed his blaster and started shooting at him, but he missed all of his shots. Knowing that the chance he would get shot was pretty big if he stayed where he was, he quickly hid behind the crates. The stormtrooper landed, and he heard him saying something in his comm;

¨The goods have been found. The smuggler and the crime boss are still alive. Waiting for instructions. Over.¨

While the Stormtrooper was talking in his comm, he didn't notice that Quay was pointing his blaster at him, and more specifically at the thermal detonator he was holding in his hand. He pulled the trigger, and he successfully hit the detonator. The small device exploded, completely blasting away the Imperial troop and half of the sidewalk. Luckily, the crates containing the goods were not damaged at all. Quay took a closer look at the crates, and he found a small, red, blinking light on all of the crates. He immediately recognized what that was; a tracking device. He had used devices like this himself before, so he knew how to remove it. Quay looked at the damage the explosions had done, and suddenly saw that the crime boss had died due to the impact. Oh well, he didn't specifically need her to sell the Imperial goods. There are a lot of people here on Nar Shaddaa who would be interested in buying these weapons. It's not like that so-called ¨Red Hand¨ syndicate will care about the death of this person, right?
