VI - Dinner ~ Whisper City
Saying the ambiance was romantic would be so cliché, wouldn't it? However, that was what she felt when she arrived to the chosen restaurant. It was a cozy bistro in the end of the street. Dim lights from the lamp post gave that feeling of seclusion. The hanging vines around were mesmerizing giving an earthy feeling. The way the tables were decorated showed simplicity but class.
She chose to sit outside, there was a light breeze she wanted to take advantage off plus it helped clear away any nervous cells that lingered. His smile was intoxicating, the way his cheeks grew slightly red and yet he continued carrying the conversation, unable to meet her gaze for she someone made him feel shy. If he only knew she also felt the same, a shyness she couldn't explain.
Their hands accidentally brushed agaisnt each another as the waiter brought their entrées. The wooden table probably have seen so many dates in its time. If only it could share its experience to the world of the countless hearts that swelled silently upon enjoying a heart felt meal.
"I'd like to see you again." He said.
She smiled.
I would love that, she secretly told herself.
