Daydream

Taken at Faded: LANA~

 

Alone she walks in a daydream,

Chasing the left over moon beam,

Invisible wings fluttering behind,

Doing her best to always remain kind,

Tired beating of her soul,

Brought her this dead end stroll,

She kicked of her shoes,

Each stepped started to bruise,

The pain heightening her senses,

Bringing up her defenses,

A window is always kept ajar,

She couldn't bear to keep anyone far,

Why is it hard to slow down?

Perhaps she just wants to drown,

In a swirl of unrequited emotions,

Vast than the waters of the oceans,

A delicate koi strokes through tornados,

Her heart froze like the winter's rose,

Friendship warmed it without a cost,

Hence why her smile was never lost...
