Grand Opening Photo Contest Results {Kintsugi; Spirited Beyond}
Bambi & I are happy to announce the winners for our Grand Opening Photo Contest at Kintsugi;Spirited beyond. We are so excited and happy seeing all the photos posted in the group so far. We hope to see more photos.
It was not easy choosing the winners and we finally concluded we needed to add some consolation winners because we just loved most of the photos but for competitions there must be winners in the end. :) Our Criteria was simple, we selected photos that followed the contest rules, had creativity and captured something unique compared to most.
Sorry for the long rambling but here are the top 3 Winners!
First Place:-
亗 Orion Octane 亗 (orionoctane)
When we saw this picture, we were honestly so surprised. Not only did he choose one of the hardest spots to build (Bambi was growling when she landscaped that path and did those steps up!) He also managed to add a very nice story to his photo. Warriors are a huge part of Japanese History and it was really breath taking seeing that recreated in Kintsugi. Thank you Orion and Congrats!
Second Place:-
Seb (sebcaen.neox)

This was the first photo that made our hearts melt, seeing a good amount of most of Kintsugi in one photo along with that romantic blend of color, water reflection and overall positive glow! Seb really managed to make our hearts swoon with this entry featuring some of our surreal parts of our little world. Congrats Seb and thank you!
Third Place:-
Lynn (titaniclynn.ayres)

So beautiful and yet haunting! We were hoping someone would see the lovely angle and capture it. This is the entrance to the Lantern island which is also a memorial area for our furry friends. Lynn did a remarkable job with her soft edits, sharp eyes and beautiful composition. Thank you so much Lynn and congrats!
We have chosen 3 consolation winners as below in no particular order:-
The Wise Owl! We are thrilled someone noticed him and the photo was dreamy, and yet you can easily see the details of where he is perched. Moreover, we enjoyed the little message about the photograph. Congrats & you have our thanks!
This has got to be our favorite photo of the dreamy Artists Home. It was almost like a painting. Also her description was very well written. Thanks so much and congrats!
We were happy seeing the umbrellas and part of the market captured to well. Her little connection to hope was what won our heart as well as the crisps colors she used to highlight the little ghost city. Thanks very much and congrats!
P.S. I will contact you all shortly. <3
