The shogun's sigh, the twilight air,

Stone paths meander, mosses spread,
Where every leaf and thought is led.
No gold adorns its wooden grace,
Yet time has kissed this sacred place.
Reflections dance in garden sand,
Drawn by the rake, a mindful hand.
A pond, a pine, a moonlit trace,
All speaking in their silent place.
Wabi and sabi gently blend—
Where beauty lives, and thoughts transcend.
Ginkaku-ji, your name may lie,
Yet truth resides where spirits sigh.
A temple not of silver bright—
But of still hearts and inward light.
