Tis the Season

Bluebells in Micheldever Wood, Hampshire

 

Yes, it's that season again when Togs battle against the hoards of visitors to bluebell woods to try to get shots before the little beauties get trampled underfoot!

 

I thought I'd better interrupt my Scotland photos with some seasonal shots rather than let them gather dust.

 

I spotted there was due to be a sunny morning on Tuesday so set my alarm for early and made a slight detour on my way to work. I hadn't scouted but was pleased to see there was a decent crop out and bagged myself some shots before work.

 

I decided to go for the 65:24 crop here (on a 5 shot focus stacked image) as it's one of my favourites for general woodland scenery.

 

I can't hand on heart say no bluebells were damage taking of this image but I will promise that I did my very best to avoid any damage to them.
