Waiting for a Train
Jacobite Express, Glenfinnan, Lochaber, Scotland
Delved into my stock of pre-processed images for this one. I know it's an iconic shot (for good reason) so hardly rare BUT I've not shot the 'Hogwarts Express' before and it was on my bucket list to do. Getting it with it's autumn coat on is definitely a bonus and for someone who hadn't shot trains before it was a bit stressful as you don't get long to shoot at the best spot on the viaduct and certainly not enough to check sharpness & exposure and alter. It was a case of just setting the R5 and going for it. Pretty happy with this one and next time I'm that way I can concentrate on a couple of alternative locations rather than standing with the hoards here. Think I may print this on my new Canon Pro300 printer.
