Sauron watching Stonehenge
Having had a couple of 2am wake-ups recently plus work being hectic I was struggling to have the motivation to get out this morning. The forecast was for no cloud to the east but high cloud over to the west of me so I thought I'd pop out to Stonehenge again. I had a lay in (3am wake-up!) and set off but found the high cloud forecast wrong...again! Spotting some mist I thought I'd give it a go and as it got towards sunrise I wondered if there would be a sunrise like at Old Harry Rocks recently. There was!! The sun started to show and for a few brief seconds there were bands across it to grabbed some shots whilst I could. have to say recently that I'm starting to question that summer is a write-off for photography as I've got some shots recently I'm quite please with. I wasn't expecting that sort of mist in late July after several days of around 30C temperatures so quite a bonus. Thanks for looking. (PS pressing L will give you a full screen view)
