Bibury is a village and civil parish on the River Coln in the English county of Gloucestershire. The village is a major tourist destination in the Cotswolds and was described by William Morris as 'surely the most beautiful....in England'.
The village parish church is dedicated to St Mary and was an important Saxon minster church. The current church retains some Saxon masonary and undertook extensive rebuilding between the late 12th century and the mid 13th century when the north and south aisles and the tower were added.
