The small village of South Willingham is located on the western edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds in the district of East Lindsey and ancient wapentake of Wraggoe.
The parish church is dedicated to St Martin, the main body of the chrch was rebuilt between 1835 - 1838 but has an original Perpendicular Gothic west tower.
