Coming...and Going
Coming and going, ebbs and flows... Vancouver is a major cruise ship terminal for voyages north and south, to Alaska and California. The terminal is adjacent to the convention centre, right in the heart of the harbour and downtown. When the ships arrive, the streets suddenly fill with tourists, and taxis become scarce, but when the ships leave, their horns echo mournfully throughout the downtown.
