Flying above the clouds
Our flight back home from Salt Lake City provided an amazing horizon view during sunset but was also very bumpy as there were storms in the middle of the country. When I shot this I also noticed lighting strikes coming out of clouds in the distance. A bit unnerving. The pilots did the best they could but there was no “smoother” air to be found. My son thought it was was exciting but I had to shut my eyes and take some deep breaths. Since I have home for almost a month now I’ll be going back out for some New England photography.
