Lake Ninan

First time soaking in the magic of this stunning salt lake!

A place where sunrises, sunsets, and the night sky are epic. The best part was that I had the whole place to myself. Set up one camera for a timelapse (check out the last post) and wandered to the other side of the lake to shoot this pano. It wasn't all success though, my star tracker kept stopping every 10 minutes, so I had to wrestle with tech issues for a while! Didn't get the full 240° Milky Way arch I’d planned, but I'm stoked with this shot of the core as it set fast. Can already picture myself coming back when the lake’s dry in summer to explore even more spots!
