Determined

Red-tailed Hawks bear a determined, if not scowling visage. They are a handsome and successful species, and I wish we had one around our place to help out with the mousing.

 

I think the partially obscuring branch adds to this image. I hope to show that this is not just a photo of a species, but of a unique being in the world.
