Bringing back vintage memories
I took this picture in 2014, proudly displaying my vintage collection. These roller skates with the key were made in the early 1900's by Sears Roebuck & Co. "John Higgins" the employee became "J.C. Higgins" the brand name during a discussion in 1908 among Sears' executives of possible names for a new line of sporting goods. I still have these skates to show to my Grandkids what fun we used to have as a kid. I sure do miss those simple, but fun times.
