Neumann U87 Gold Special Edition Microphone (1997-1998)

I had the pleasure of recording on this microphone yesterday in Oakland CA, for an upcoming CD project. I’ve recorded on U87’s before but this was my first time on 1 of these! I’m sure this sounds just as good as the standard U87’s, which by the way sounds great, but the look of this one makes you think it will sound even better! 😁
