By using shadows of the fence in the background as leading lines, I wanted to put focus on the subject which is the rock. The leading lines bring the focus to towards the rock as opposed to the grass. But inscribed on the rock is the word "Hope" so by using one of the rays of sunlight it illuminates the word making it the easiest to read on the subject.
