Sheldon North From Oakes
This appears to me to be Sheldon north from Oakes in the late20s. That is the Hotel Browning on the right later Ferguson-Droste-Ferugson Hospital. Next to it was a Buick dealership in the 20s, later it was a Chrysler/Plymouth dealership, Imperial Motors. The Art Prize/UICA building is on the left, it was also a car dealership, originall Becker Auto, looks like it is Allen-Wilcox in this shot, a Pontiac dealer. You can see the YMCA, YWCA & the LLC. The Watson Mansion is gone at the corner of Sheldon and Fulton replaced by the Watson Building. It and its neighbor the Medical Arts building are still on that corner.
