19th century English binding by Riviere & Son. Made from dark green morocco. The central oval includes the author and title surrounded by four variant sprays representing the seasons. The inner covers are decorated with different flowers. Brown watered silk doublures. Stamped with the name of the binder on the front turn-in. Top edges gilt. 217x156x42mm.
