Broxb. 80.6 — Historiæ Æthiopicæ by Heliodorus (Basle, 1534).

Early 16th century English binding. Made from dark calf over wooden boards. The panels consist of two heads in medallions (Oldham, Panels, 26 and 25). There are remains of clasps hinged to the lower cover, and marks of chaining on the upper cover. The pastedowns have been removed. Rebacked. 223x161x27mm.
