Puerto Madero has gone from a run down abandoned port sector in Buenos Aires once used to house political prisoners to an urban renewal success story.You can see a portion of the world famous architect Santiago Calatrava's Puente de la Mujer (The Woman's Bridge). All the streets in Puerto Madero are named after woman.
